    方石铺筑的街路,维多利亚式的洋马车,那辚辚的车声早已经驶进了历史的暮霭。
    虽然一直没去过哈尔滨但是在俄罗斯呆了那么多年总觉得哈尔滨就像东方的俄罗斯很多典型的巴洛克式建筑,平面复杂,形式自由,精致的浮雕人物撑托着圆弧型阳台,赭红色的穹顶。炎炎夏日又是个避暑的好去处。

    中央大街最早的街名叫中国大街,1928年7月,中国大街正式改称中央大街。百年老街像一位身着欧式晚装的华贵夫人;一条欧罗巴古典建筑的艺术长廊,是一座建筑艺术博物馆,这一点不过誉。它像一曲凝固的音乐交响诗,以独特的韵调,典雅华丽的旋律,演示着老街的沧桑岁月。 沿街的绿树、街灯,排开了一条笔直的长街。一幢又一幢风格典雅的欧式建筑,造型各异,色彩缤纷,宛若一幅幅色彩明丽的巨幅油画,每天的晨光照亮巴洛克式、或文艺复兴风格的建筑物的屋顶。人们走在这条街上,真好像走进了画境,恍若置身在欧洲某一座都市古老的街路上。这一方方被流逝的岁月磨蚀得光洁亮泽的方石,是在向今天这条步行街上的行人讲述老街如烟的往事?还是在谛听哈尔滨人新世纪行进的足音?
     
    一百多年过去了,圣·索菲亚教堂仍显得那样地端庄秀丽,虽在尘风中,韵致不减,是目前我国保存最完整的拜占庭式风格建筑。而圣·索菲亚教堂的精彩之处主要不在这些方面,主要在于它细腻的砖砌技术,它的外墙全部采用清砖勾缝砌筑而成,包括那些凹凸有致檐口造型和扶壁柱也全部由红砖砌筑而成,十分精致,显示了高超的手艺,可以看到人们是怀着如何虔诚的心情,完成了这样精密的砌筑工作,才使得建筑外观显得如此精美绝伦。教堂内的壁画、吊灯及钟楼,具有较高的历史文化价值和观赏价值。
